Sunday Elective Class
9:30am in Room 9
September 8 - October 27, 2019

It's common to avoid end of life discussions as long as possible, but are you ready? We can no longer put this conversation off. But how do I begin this discussion with my spouse, my family, my children? How am I even supposed to know what to talk about? This is exactly why Crossroads is offering the elective “It’s Always Too Early Until It’s Too Late - Let’s start the Conversation.” Whether you are preparing for the passing of a loved one or you recognize your own need to be prepared, this elective navigates the uncomfortable waters of end of life decisions using biblical principles along with experience from doctors and nurses who have walked alongside many who suffered due to a lack of preparation. Expect to engage in conversation, consider case studies, and take notes on the practical wisdom that Scripture provides. (This class is strongly based on the book and resources from Departing in Peace: Biblical Decision-Making at the End of Life by Phd and MA Bill Davis.)

Classes will be held Sunday mornings at 9:30am from September 8 - October 27 in Room 9 in the gym and will be taught by Terri Johnson and Dr. Jimmy Zimmerman.
